Cierra's Story:

"Meet Cierra L.! Cierra joined our High School Equivalency class and worked hard to accomplish her goal, passing all sections with flying colors. She then took the next step in her educational journey by enrolling in postsecondary education, where she is working toward her degree in Computer Science. In addition, Cierra completed SFCC’s Substitute Teaching/Paraprofessional program, adding valuable skills and credentials to her accomplishments. Today, Cierra gives back to the program that helped her move forward by working as a substitute teacher/paraprofessional within the Adult Education & Literacy program while continuing her own education. Cierra’s journey from HSE student to college student, credentialed professional, and now AEL team member is a wonderful example of the opportunities Adult Education can provide. We are incredibly proud of Cierra and all that she continues to accomplish!"
